Dr.
Albert Pawlusiewicz, voted "Top Chiropractor" by Consumers' Research Council of America, is a chiropractic physician who has dedicated
his career to help others in pain. Himself a chiropractic success
story, Dr. Pawlusiewicz became interested in the profession after
being effectively treated by another chiropractic physician for
his severe back pain.
Dr. Pawlusiewicz
completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago
with a degree in psychology, cum laude. After enrolling in the National
University of Health Sciences, College of Chiropractic, he earned
a degree in human biology, and went on to attain his doctorate degree
in Chiropractic Medicine.
While at the
National University of Health Sciences,
Dr. Pawlusiewicz completed numerous seminars on manual medicine,
rehabilitation, nutrition and sports injuries. He is a diplomate candidate in post-docotrate clinical orthopedics and has completed a certification course in Acupuncture, and is certified
in Cox® Flexion-Distraction technique (disk treatment).
After completing
his clinical rotations at the National College and Salvation Army
Clinics in Chicago, Dr. Pawlusiewicz went on to establish his private
practice, where he strives to provide the best, patient-focused
care. He specializes in treatment of back and neck complains, but
his practice also encompasses orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehab, sports and work injuries and acupuncture. Dr. Pawlusiewicz designs treatment plans unique
to each patient.
Dr. Pawlusiewicz continues to be involved in the academic world through participation
in seminars and colloquiums. He is also an avid windsurfer, tennis
player and a skier. He is a member of the American Chiropractic
Association, and the Illinois Chiropractic Society.
